VDA FFA – Field Failure Analysis
How to analyze customer complaints from the field?
Effectively enough that they never appear again...
VDA FFA – Field Failure Analysis is a methodology for analyzing failures occurring in the field, i.e. after the product has been delivered to the customer (OEM, service, end user). The purpose of VDA FFA is a structured and systematic approach to analyzing failures that occur after the product has been put into service, in order to: understand the causes of the problem, assess the risk to the customer, take corrective and preventive actions, and meet customer requirements and reduce costs related to complaints.
